The "Hotel Locanda
Ovidius", completely rebuilt, offers its guests splendid rooms, elegantly
furnished in Venetian eighteenth-century style, and a breakfast room
overlooking the Canal Grande and the Rialto Bridge, which was the only
pedestrian connection between the two parts of the city until the
nineteenth century. It is one of the most famous symbols of Venice.
It
is still the favourite market of the locals; it is crowded, picturesque
and definitely worth a visit. You will be surprised by the vivacity, the
ringing voices in the fish markets and the striking colours in the
vegetable market. You will be met with warmth and courtesy by a staff
making every effort to ensure your memories of Venice will be as pleasant
as possible.
In high season, during weekends, we accept
reservation for 3 nights minimum, from Thursday through Saturday or from
Friday through Sunday. |
